AdmissionWe welcome applications from anywhere in the world. We have grants and scholarships for applicants who have no other means of financing the Master, see grants page in this section for more information. Below is a description of the application procedure. The academic year of the Master starts with the Summer Course, that is held annually in the first week of July.
The Master and the Summer School are open to graduates with an MSc or MD degree in psychology, neuroscience, behavioural sciences, psychiatry, medicine or a related discipline.
Applicants with a different education history are admitted on an individual basis, after an assessment of the extent of their knowledge to ensure that the basic level necessary for the Summer Courses is present. The Executive Director may decide to hold a telephone interview with the candidate for this purpose.
In your application and CV we will look for your interest and experience in affective neuroscience. Mention your experience in affective neuroscience clearly in your application.
Applicants from outside the EU-EER, who are non-native speakers of English and do not have an academic degree for a programme that was taught in English, need to submit proof of obtaining a sufficient score on a recognised international test of English language. The minimum score that will be accepted is 6.0 for the IELTS, and for the TOEFL 497 (paper-based), 170 (computer based) or 60 (internet based).
Fill out the application form on this website and include the attachments listed below. Applications that do not include these documents will not be considered.
